Thoughts for your Thursday!

I hope you enjoy! Next Thursday I will probably have real life funnies from my real life friends doing something real life dumb! I love them....

My friends Rachel and Neill are getting married this weekend and the festivities begin today. I can't wait. I can't wait to see my friends and I can't wait to watch two of them on one special day.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

No it's really not, but as always....I eagerly look forward to spring when it's winter and summer when it's spring, and so on and so forth! Sorry for that random thought. I have had a busy weekend and the weekends just keep getting busier!

This weekend Jake and I found a house to rent in NOLA! Wooohoooo! I love it and just as soon as we move in I will make sure to post pictures!

On Thursday I get to go to Fayetteville for my friend Rachel's bridal shower! Then on Friday we have a bridesmaid luncheon, Saturday the rehearsal dinner and on Sunday......dant dant da daaaaaaaaa THE WEDDING! I've already informed Rachel I will cry like a baby, thank you cosmetic industry for waterproof mascara!

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Oh, my wonderful friend Jamie apparently thinks I'm awesome and so I she gave me an Awe-summmm award. I will be fulfilling my requirements for that soon! Thanks Jamie, I think you're awesome too!

Thoughts for your Thursday!

I just wanted to share some fun with you! Hope you enjoy.... some of these really do apply to me!

On a different note, while I was writing this post my Nanny called....I LOVE my Nanny and Granddad (who aren't even actually related to me). I used to go over to their house every Sunday and beg them to let me watch Annie. They would and my Nanny would always make me a ham and mayo sandwich (I loved them) and sweet tea! I'm going to visit them next month and I can't wait! I love them SO MUCH!

Shout Out Wednesday!!!

Today I want to make a shout out about a book I absolutely love! I really, really do. Jake asked me the other day why I was reading it again....my reply was because I need to remind myself sometimes that it's important to be a good person, to listen to people and enjoy the little things. (I feel like I talk about this a lot, but I truly feel like it's important to make every effort to live a life you are proud of and to do what you can to make the lives of those around you more enjoyable, however that may be).

What book reminds you of this you may ask? Well, it's Tuesday's with Morrie by Mitch Albom. It's a wonderful story about a student who reunites with his favorite professor after hearing that he is very ill. It's a touching story filled with wonderful quotes, like:

"So many people walk around with a meaningless life. They seem half-asleep, even when they're busy doing things they think are important. This is because they're chasing the wrong things. The way you get meaning into your life is to devote yourself to loving others, devote yourself to your community around you, and devote yourself to creating something that gives you purpose and meaning."

"The most important thing in life is to learn how to give out love, and to let it come in."

"Death ends a life, not a relationship."

I could honestly go on and on about all the wonderful things in this book. It's an easy read and I encourage you to read it if you haven't. You'll love it, I hope, as much as I do. I cry every time. Again the main reason I love this book is because I like being reminded of the important things in life...family, love, happiness, goodness, treating others with respect, and faith (just to name a few).


So tell me about a book you love, one that just makes you happy, or makes you think, or gives you more things to live for. Whatever it may be I want to know, because I might just need to read it.

I'm back, I'm back!

Well I am finally back! I can't even remember how long I've been gone, but it felt like forever! I have been so busy and will probably end up taking another small break when we move again next month! Yes I said again.

Let's see what have I done since we last spoke? I went to a super fun bachelorette weekend in Eureka Springs with two wonderful brides to be and a whole bunch of people I love!



Jake and I moved out of our house into a corporate apartment. It's small for our family of four, but nice and only temporary. I also went to Mena on Saturday for a baby shower for my sister. The baby is coming soon. She went to the doctor yesterday and everything is looking good he said! Very excited.

Jake and I will be leaving for New Orleans Thursday night to look for houses and I have a JOB INTERVIEW! So please think of us as I will need some good vibes for my interview and our house hunting!

And I have some questions. As some of you know I usually post on wordpress well I am coming over to blogger and I'm not used to it. Can you write something and then cross it out with a line. I really love that feature and will be so sad if I can't do that with my blogger account. I would appreciate the help!
